Where do we send videos, are there any instructions on how much should we say, one sentence, two? Are there any other details we should know? Do we tape in english on in our language? Mine is serbian. So, should I speak on serbian or say something in english? :)

click the red ball to read the instructions, it’s all there. :) you don’t need to send video, just audio of you answering the questionnaire. You can speak serbian if you want! :) Just remember to send us a txt file with a translation so we know what you’re saying. :P

Is there any lenght limit of the audio entry? :) btw... i am so happy that i found out about this project, i'll be more than happy to participate! ♥

no limits, but keep in mind we will cut the answers in some way, to make them all fit into the vid, which will need not be too long.

We had to sit down and breathe for a moment,but now we are back to our lovely followers with a couple updates that will probably make everyone happy.

DEADLINE FOR RECORDINGS/TEXTS: we are getting many submissions, but a lot of concerned emails as well, these ones coming from people who need a bit more time. We want you to know that you have it: we won’t exclude anyone sending stuff in the couple days or weeks following March 1st.

WHAT ELSE WE ARE ACCEPTING: starting from March 1st 2012 (day of deadline), we will be online with the rest of the project. The Video Documentary with your voices and texts will be part of a greater initiative we’re organizing with Housedailydose. That is still a surprise, but we can tell you we are accepting quality, House-related art: writings, music, digital and traditional art. THESE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE PART OF AN EVERLASTING MEMORIAL TRIBUTE TO THE SHOW, FROM THE FANS. IN WHAT FORM, YOU WILL SEE.

We will start accepting music, art and writings from March 2nd, 2012. All the submissions will be evaluated by competent experts.

How can we publicize this thing more? March 1st seems like too close a deadline. I just heard of it. Sure you don't want to give people a bit more time?

This is the best we can do to publicize this, unless someone else comes up with another idea :) March 1st is soon, we know. It’s just that we need much time to edit the fanvid, so we’re considering whether or not we should extend the deadline.

Recap of the rules… Spread the Word!

1) What the heck is this project?
It’s a House fanvideo by NCISmelanie, KatrinDepp and AleTheHOUSEwife. House clips to catchy music, you might know us since we’ve been doing this for years.

2) What’s special about it?
That your voices will be used as commentary to the House scenes you’re watching.

3) Why is this happening?
Because House MD is ending forever. When the story ends, the legend begins. This is a tribute to the show.

4) How can I be part of it?
First of all, read the rules. Then, you will be able to answer our questionnaire in one of the following ways…

a - English recording (easy-peasy).

b - Non-English recording: remember to provide a written translation in the email you’re sending us :P

c - Written answers in English. Just a text file.

5) How should I answer?
Just answer all the questions, don’t worry about repeating or not repeating the question. Be complete in your answer, that’s what counts. Nothing else does.

6) What’s your email? Will I get confirmation?
Email is thehousem.d.project@gmail.com. We are trying to send confirmation emails, but we are getting so many submissions that it’s unlikely we can fullfil the demand. You’re getting an email from us if something isn’t working, though.

7) Do you need video of me speaking?
NO. There’s no way anyone’s face will be in the video.

8) I can’t click on ball-y to see the rules.
Ball-y works. If you’re on mobile, it might not be visible. If you can’t see the PDF linked to it from your laptop or desktop computer, enable Flash and pop-up windows in your browser. Otherwise, rules are here.

9) What about the deadline?
DEADLINE IS MARCH 1ST 2012, 00:00:00 GMT. It’s soon, but we need much time to make this work. We won’t kick out anyone whose submission arrives reasonably late, but we’d be very grateful if you respect the deadline, because our work depends on it.

10) There must be something else.
There is. But you need to read the rules till the last line to know it. And there’s another surprise we’re preparing along with HouseDailyDose, who will host our vid. We will reveal it after the deadline for the submissions expires.

I'm sorry to bother, but there's something that I didn't really understand and, since I'd love to participate, I'd appreciate if you could clear up. In the recording we have to answer the questions in the questionnaire, or do we have to send in both, a written and a recorded file? And when we do the recorded part, do we have to answer every question from the questionnaire or is it just a guide? Thanks a lot, this seems to be an awesome idea and I'm glad we will be able to be part of it.

Hi :) If you’re sending an english recording, it’ll be enough. If you’re sending a non-english recording, provide a text file with a (broad) translation. If you don’t feel like speaking, send us a text file only. :)
As for the questionnaire, please answer all the questions in the right order (there’s a sample file you can download if you want to know how it should look like).

Hi! You said in the rules that if we don't speak english as our first language, it doesn't matter 'cause u love accents, etc . But also said that 'Non-English recordings: allowed but please provide translation in your email.' So, i have to send my recording speaking in english or in my language?. Thank u guys so much!

The first time we wrote the rules we didn’t want people to worry about accents so we said “Just talk and don’t worry”, but someone wasn’t feeling ready to speak english at all, so later on we allowed other languages. Choice is yours, depends on how confident you feel :)

[H]OUSE fans, our show is coming to an end: this is the right time to be part of something memorable for us all and for the House cast and crew. That is why we are asking for your participation in the HOUSE MD SERIES FINALE PROJECT, a video commentary to the show.

What is a video commentary? It’s a fanvid, which is what we have loved to do all these years, but with the addition of music and your voices.

So, what makes House special to you? What will you remember the show for?

Tell us by answering our questionnaire and send the recording to TheHouseM.D.Project@gmail.com .

We will collect the recordings and use them as voiceovers to our Series Finale Video, which will incorporate clips from the eight seasons, memorable moments, memorable quotes… and your comments on them. The documentary will premiere on Youtube soon after the show ends.
